Camping is the activity of setting up a place to rest, normally involving the pitching of tents and usually includes a camp fire. This was often done during the night while on a long journey taking over a day to arrive at the location.
Modern day camping usually involves setting up tents to sleep in at night while in the woods when on a holiday of sorts. Sometimes, a camper van or motor home may be used.
